Directly east of the Ruins of Renfree Field, north of Auburn Blvd, is the untouched wilderness of Del Paso Park & Nature Reserve.
The park is a favorite destination of people throughout Arden & Carmichael and offers one of the last natural habitats of Sacramento County.
Shockingly, this park, surrounded on three sides by county residents, is within the borders of the City of Sacramento. Sadly, the open space, history, and the unique natural habitat, that has been enjoyed for generations, is threatened by neglect and mismanagement by the City.
